Clinical Pharmacology
Dianabol is an oral compound with a significant effect on protein metabolism creating a positive nitrogen balance, resulting in pronounced effect on lean muscle mass. Dianabol, derivative of testosterone, has significant anabolic and androgenic properties. Dianabol is indicated for anti-catabolic therapy in males for conditions associated with deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone. These indications include: primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), testicular failure due to cryptorchidism, bilateral torsion, orchitis, vanishing testis syndrome, or orchidectomy, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), idiopathic gonadotropin or LHRH deficiency, or pituitary-hypothalamic injury from tumors, trauma, or radiation.
