Clinical Pharmacology
Proviron is an oral DHT steroid compound similar to Masteron (100 mg/mL) (drostanolone propionate). Proviron is frequently used in conjunction with testosterone as it moderates the conversion of testosterone into estrogen, enhancing the overall anabolic effect and reducing the estrogenic side effects including water-retention, decreased libido and gynocomastia. Proviron also promotes the effects of endogenous/exogenous testosterone in the body. Proviron is best used with a testosterone, making the use of anti-estrogen compounds unnecessary. Proviron may cause high blood pressure in certain individuals.
