Clinical Pharmacology
Primobolan is the oral version of the compound methenolone. It is the faster acting version of the injectable compound Primobolan (100 mg/mL) (methenolone enathate). Primobolan is a fast acting anabolic compound, with low androgenic properties. Its anabolic effects are mild, with potency slightly less than other compounds in this class. Since Primobolan does not readily convert to estrogen, estrogen related side effects are not exhibited. Primobolan does not significantly interfere with endogenous testosterone production. Primobolan is indicated for anti-catabolic therapy in males for conditions associated with deficiency or absence of endogenous testosterone which include: primary hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), testicular failure due to cryptorchidism, bilateral torsion, orchitis, vanishing testis syndrome, or orchidectomy, hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (congenital or acquired), idiopathic gonadotropin or LHRH deficiency, or pituitary-hypothalamic injury from tumors, trauma, or radiation.
